What format will my video come in?

We deliver our videos in MP4 or QuickTime file at 1080p that’s HD. We can provide files in pro res if required.

We shoot in 4K so we retain the quality but we edit and output in 1080p  as it easier to work with and more web-friendly.

Will it work on my website?

Yes it will and we suggest embedding the video from a hosting site such as You Tube or Vimeo. If you try to add it directly it may affect your page load speeds, so by using an embed code you will avoid this. You can get the code from You Tube directly or have a web developer do this for you.

Do I need a script?

We will require a script. However you do not have to do this we can take care of it as part of our service.

Will I need to source Actors / Actresses?

You do not always need them but if the video call for it we can take care of this for you. We have contacts with several agencies and should you wish you can be involved in the process.

Will there be music?

Yes, Music is great for enhancing feeling and emotion so depending on the emotion we are trying to portray we will use music to emphasise this. 

We have an extensive library of music that we can use and they are all royalty free. You will have a specific licence to use the music for your video.

Where will the video be filmed?

We can shoot on location or in our studio. We have travelled all over the country and even been overseas. What ever location is decided for the video. We will take care of any permissions required such as shoot licences with councils should this be a requirement.

What input will I have?

This is up to you. In most cases we take care of everything so that the client can just relax however some like to be involved at that is fine as well.

What length does it need to be?

This varies and is dependant on it’s function and where it will be used. On the web most videos finish before 3 minuets but on social media its usually less.

It also depends on the message and how engaging the content is. 

We will discuss this at length in planning meetings.

Will it work on social Media?

In theory yes. However different outlets have different rules. The crop of the video and the length can be a factor.

It will work as standard on YouTube and Vimeo and other sites similar. However, it may need to be adapted depending on the site it’s being uploaded to.

As part of our visual marketing input, we look at this for you and advise accordingly. In some cases, we provide teaser edits that are designed to lead the audience to the full-length video.
